Searching Help

The Quick Search facility lets you search for a product using any keyword (or words) or standard number. The full products database is searched. This includes Standards Australia, ISO, IEC, EN, ANSI, BSI, DIN, ETSI, NSAI and JSA standards as well as many other products.

Where it finds a direct match, this is the first information it will supply. It may also supply you with a second list of possible matches if not many direct matches were found. If it cannot find any direct match, where possible, it will supply a list of possible matches, based on your search criteria.

In the Search box, if you know the reference number of the document you want, this is the most efficient way of locating the publication. Remember you don't need to enter the AS, BSI or DIN prefix. You may also enter part of the number and all standards containing that part will be displayed. If you don't know the reference number, enter a word or words that are likely to be in the title. For example searching for the word steel will find all standards with the word steel in the title.

This link will appear when a previous search result that you have produced in the current session is available to you.

The Help link brings you to this help page.

The Go Button simply activates the search based on the search criteria entered.
