Specifies requirements for appliance and flue installation for solid fuel burning appliances in dwellings. Sets out alternative means of compliance via performance testing of a prototype installation or the use of prescriptive criteria (dimension, materials, etc) based on a worst case situation.

This Standard specifies requirements for the installation of domestic solid fuel burning appliances which can be fully assembled prior to being transported to the installation site. It does not cover the installation of appliances which must be assembled in situ, or appliances with electrically-driven fuel stoker systems.
