Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Specifies requirements for ferrous and non-ferrous, fluxed or unfluxed filler metal for welding. The classification system adopted is basically in line with ANSI/AWS classification. Filler metals are given in seven groups - carbon and intermediate alloy steels, high alloy steels, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, magnesium alloys, aluminium alloys, nickel and nickel alloys. An appendix providing a guide to the application of filler metals is included
