• Vehicle Restraints (Car Seats)

It is a legal requirement that all children must be safely fastened in a correct child car seat for their size and age.

The mandatory standard for child restraint systems for use in motor vehicles is Competition and Consumer Act 2010 - Consumer Protection Notice No. 3 of 2014 - Safety Standard: Child Restraint Systems for use in Motor Vehicles. The standard is a variation and based upon AS/NZS 1754:2013, Child restraint systems for use in motor vehicles.
