General Conditions of Contract
General Conditions of Contract (commonly known as Contract Standards) are documents that assist with procurement contracts and widely used in the construction, engineering, civil infrastructure industries.

Different format options
Reusable PDF: Executable "Fillable" Contract of Annexure Templates (with Conditions)
Reusable PDF Contracts can greatly benefit builders, architects, government officers, utility officers, lawyers and anyone involved in procurement and project management.
Reusable PDF formats can be applied to a variety of projects and allow you to add text or strike-through within the Annexures only (with minimal character limits). You can use this format to print, scan and issue PDF copies to external parties for contract negotiations.
The following formats are available with a licence term from the date of order.
Reusable-Single:
- This licence is only for a single-user for 3 months access with up to 6 final copies
- Can be locally installed
- Permitted to print 6 copies for contract finalisation
- Initial drafts do not count toward the 6 final copies
- Only print or scanned .PDFs of the amended material may be issued externally
- Reusable .PDF tool is for Internal use only.
Reusable-Multi:
- This licence is for a multi-user for 6 months with up to 12 copies
- Can be locally installed
- Permitted to print 12 copies for contract finalisation
- Initial drafts do not count toward the 12 final copies
- Only print or scanned .PDFs of the amended material may be issued externally
- Reusable .PDF tool is for Internal use only.
Hardcopy: "Executable" Contract
All Australian Standard Contracts are available in Hardcopy format which are found under the 'Reference Use Only' versions.
For commercial contracts, one hardcopy contract copy must be completed by hand and issued to each party. For example, as part of the tender process you would supply a completed original hardcopy to each tenderer. Photocopying and reformatting contravenes the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth).
Reference Use Only PDF: "Non-executable" Contract - Internal Use Only
In instances where you need a contract for internal reference only and not as part of a commercial contract, a Reference Use Only PDF format can be used.
By having these formats as a guide, you can understand the requirements without losing time on the project. All Australian Standard Contracts are available in Reference Use Only format.
