Covers grading requirements for four structural grades of fabricated scantlings, and three grades of fabricated studs, not exceeding 100 mm thick, and fabricated from end finger-jointed pieces or from not more than five face-glued laminations which may be end finger-jointed pieces or full length pieces. Quality control systems, methods of routine and laboratory testing, and assessment of wood failure are dealt with in appendices.
