    Specifies essential safety and associated requirements for the design, construction and testing of overhead line connector boxes, which must bemet before the connector boxes can be offered for sale. It is intended to be read in conjunction with AS/NZS3100.

    This specification applies to fixed devices for connecting low or medium voltage overhead lines to —(a) fixed wiring; and(b) overheadlines.Such devices include those fitted with fuses or circuit-breakers.
