Specifies the criteria for assessing the effectiveness of termite management systems intended for use in buildings and structures as required by AS3660.1 or AS3660.2 It also outlines procedures to assess the ability of a system and its components to manage termite activity in and around buildings and structures. It is intended for use by termite management system manufacturers, assessment providers and approval authorities where the systems are intended for use in any part of Australia where subterranean termites are a risk. It is not intended for the assessment of the system components to perform other functions as building materials.
