Specifies methods of test and minimum performance requirements for protective clothing to be worn when performing structural firefighting and associated activities. This Interim Standard has been based on ISO/CD 11613 (CEN TC 162/N 379 R1).

This Interim Standard specifies the minimum requirements and test methods for assessing protective clothing that is intended to be worn during structural firefighting and associated activities where there is a risk of heat and/or flame.
