Specifies requirements for the purpose of quality control in manufacture and performance requirements for the application of wet-processed fibreboards, including hardboards and softboards.

This Standard specifies the product requirements for wet-processed fibreboards, including hardboard, medium board and softboard, as classified in Clause 5. This Standard is equivalent to the industrial Standard harmonized between the wood panel industries in Japan, Australia and New Zealand, known as JANS 23.
