Specifies requirements for both hot and cold water supplies with a maximum hot water temperature of 80 degrees Celsius (allowing excursions to 95 degrees Celsius) using metallic and non-metallic flexible tubes with end connection assemblies for above-ground application only.

This Standard specifies requirements for both hot and cold water supplies with a maximum hot water temperature of 80C (allowing excursions to 95C) using metallic and non-metallic flexible tubes with end connection assemblies for above-ground applications only. Nominal sizes range from DN 2 to DN 50 (inclusive) with a continuous working pressure not exceeding 1.4 MPa and where the normal working temperature does not exceed 95C. Flexible tubes for cold water applications, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 60C, are included. The construction of flexible tubes is not included.NOTE: This Standard excludes hoses for use with appliances.
