Specifies requirements for performance of water efficient shower spray heads for ablution purposes.

This Standard specifies requirements for performance of wall or overhead-mounted portable, or fixed water efficient shower spray heads for ablution purposes. The shower spray heads are only suitable for connection to systems with mains pressure cold and either mains pressure hot or low pressure hot water when a mixer designed for unequal pressures is used. Materials, dimensions and mechanical construction of shower spray heads are not included.NOTE: The use of low-flow shower spray heads may not be compatible with some instantaneous-type water heaters which may need to deliver fixed quantities of water.
