Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Specifies requirements for fuse-switch-disconnectors and switch-disconnectors for use with low-voltage aerial bundled cable systems in distribution circuits with a rated voltage of 400 V a.c. line to line. It is closely aligned with the requirements of AS/NZS 3947.1 and based on AS/NZS 3947.3.

Scope - (Show below) - (Hide below)

This Standard applies to single-pole and three-pole fuse-switch-disconnectors and switch-disconnectors of the integral enclosure type for outdoor use with aerial bundled cable (ABC) having aluminium conductors in distribution circuits with a rated voltage of 400 V a.c. It is applicable to devices with characteristics as stated in Tables A, B, and C which will accept fuse-links/solid-links in accordance with Table D.
