This test method measures cut resistance of garments and devices worn to protect the lower body (legs) when operating a chainsaw.2

1.1This specification covers fibrous glass insulation used as a thermal and sound absorbing liner for interior surfaces of ducts, plenums, and other air handling equipment that handle air up to 250°F (121°C).

1.2The values stated in inch-pound units are to be regarded as standard. The values given in parentheses are mathematical conversions to SI units that are provided for information only and are not considered standard.
