A Withdrawn Standard is one, which is removed from sale, and its unique number can no longer be used. The Standard can be withdrawn and not replaced, or it can be withdrawn and replaced by a Standard with a different number.

CONTAINED IN VOL 06.04, 2001 Covers a general procedure for determining the solidification point of most organic chemicals having between -20 and +150 Degrees C of appreciable heats of fusion and solidification points. Applies only to relatively pure compounds. Applies in particular detail to materials such as naphthalene, phenol, maleic anhydride, and phthalic anhydride.
