Gives requirements for reels, bulk packaging reels and bulk packaging containers for covered solid round winding wires, as supplied by the wire covers to the electrical industry but not for the new reels and packages purchased by the wire covers. Includes marking of reels and filling, packing and labelling of reels and containers and recommends the wire sizes used with the various reels and containers. Covers reels used with all covered winding wires, and the bulk packaging reels and bulk packaging containers used with enamelled wires only. Gives methods to be adopted in using the reels and containers and provides information concerning recommended minimum quantities of non-preferred wire sizes.
