Describes six procedures for determining tensile properties of plastics materials, each applicable to a specific material which includes flexible thermoplastic sheet, extrusion material and moulding compounds, injection moulded thermoplastic materials, rigid thermoplastic and thermosetting sheet, rigid thermosetting moulding materials, fibre reinforced materials incorporating mats, cloth woven rovings, including pre-pregs and reinforced materials including pre-pregs.
