Test for significant differences between two mean values based on sample results. Applicable when each observation in one sample can be paired in the same way with an observation in the second sample. Tables of fractiles of Student\'s t-distribution and power curves (one-sided test).

This International Standard specifies a method for comparing the mean of a population of differences between paired observations with zero or any other preassigned value.
