Covers dry-type flameproof three-phase power transformers up to 11 kV for use underground in mines. States voltages, ratings and connections; mounting flanges and cable terminations; over-voltage protection and earthing.

This British Standard specifies design requirements for dry-type flameproof three-phase power transformers intended for use below ground in mines.

This standard does not apply to transformers of the types covered by BS 25381) and BS 5126-4.

Appendix A lists information to be supplied by the purchaser with the enquiry and order.

NOTE The titles of the publications referred to in this standard are listed on the inside back cover.
