Requirements for Class 3 - Crepe paper

Specifies detailed requirements for Type 3.1 (Hard) and Type 3.2 (Soft) creped kraft insulating papers as defined in Part 1.

This sheet contains the requirements for crêpe paper, as defined in IE C Publication 554-1, Part 1: Definitions and General Requirements, classified as:

Type 3.1: A hard, comparatively non-absorbent, crêped kraft insulating paper made from base papers of low (L) or medium (M) permeability, such as Types 1.3-2M and 1.3-2L described in Table I of IEC Publication 554-1.
Type 3.2: A soft, porous, crêped kraft insulating paper made from base papers of high (H) permeability, such as Type 1.2-2H described in Table I of IEC Publication 554-1.
