Gives requirements for lining of equipment for process industries using cold rubber. It includes the choice of lining, its application, inspection of the lining and rectification of faults. It applies to equipment fabricated in metal or concrete. The materials include natural and synthetic rubbers applied as unvulcanized or prevulcanized sheet. Brushed or sprayed rubber linings are not included. Specifies design and fabrication of equipment and state of preparation necessary for surfaces to be lined. Describes storage, handling, transportation and installation of the lined equipment.
