Acetic anhydride esterification method applicable to polyethoxylated condensates of aliphatic and alicyclic compounds, for the determination of hydroxyl values of from 10 to 1000. Not applicable to propoxylated products.

This International Standard specifies a method for the determination of the hydroxyl value of polyethoxylated condensates by esterification of the hydroxyl groups with acetic anhydride.
