Manufacturing and physical requirements including breaking strength and colour fastness.

This British Standard specifies requirements for industrial sewing threads manufactured from the following substrates :

linen sewing threads manufactured from flax fibre (Linum usitatissimum);
cotton sewing threads manufactured from cotton fibre (Gossypium).
