Defines the nominal dimensions of straight grinding wheel, wheel recessed on one side, wheel tapered on one side, straight cup wheel, wheel recessed on both sides, dish wheel and taper cup wheel.

This part of ISO603 specifies the nominal dimensions, in millimeters, of:

Type1: Straight grinding wheel (general applictaion and saw sharpening)
Type3: Wheel tapered on one side
Type5: Wheel recessed on one side
Type6: Straight cup wheel
Type7: Wheel recessed on both sides
Type11: Taper cup wheel
Type12: Dish wheel

These bonded abrasive products are intended to be used for grinding or regrinding of cutting faces and edges of tools. The workpieces and the grinding wheels are mechanically guided.
