Proposes the requirements for mobile cranes and vehicle-loading cranes, as defined in AS 2549. It is complementary to AS 1418.1, SAA Crane Code, Part 1: General requirements. This revised draft Standard now excludes vehicle-tow cranes. Stability requirements are in conformance with ISO 4305. Requirements for repairs and alterations have been added. Requirements for mobile earthmoving equipment have been added. Testing procedures have been amended. Rated capacity chart has been added. The material on indicating and limiting devices and the appendices have been extended. Safe use features have been incorporated into AS 2550.1.
