Proposes guidance to all persons and agencies involved in the administration, management, and implementation of on-site domestic wastewater systems with the objective of achieving sustainable envionmental and public health performance. A series of Technical Guidelines are presented which relate to site and soil investigation, disposal field design, installation, and operation and maintenance of total systems. Proposed as a Joint Australian/New Zealand Standard.
