Gives magnetic and physical characteristic of 8 mm wide magnetic tape cartridge providing physical interchange of cartridges between drives. It also covers the quality of the recorded signals the recording method and the recorded format (HH-1 format) which allows for full data interchange between drives by means of such magnetic tape cartridges.
