Describes two procedures for the assessment of carbon black particle and agglomerate size and dispersion in polyolefin pipes, fittings and compounds with a carbon black content of less than 3 %. Also applicable for raw material in pellet form.

DevelopmentNote	It is considered that the photocopies (rather than photomicrographs) are not a good enough medium, therefore BSI will not implement this International Standard or support cross-references thereto by CEN. The national standard BS 2782: Part 8: Methods 823A & 823B, contains photomicrographs.
