La présente Norme européenne décrit les controles par émission acoustique (EA) effectués dans une enceinte métallique remplie de liquides destinés à la détection de processus de corrosion qui sont actifs au moment du controle. Elle s'applique aux réservoirs de stockage métalliques tels que ceux utilisés dans l'industrie chimique et en pétrochimie.
