Applies to flat non-rewirable two-pole plugs without earthing contact with rated voltage of 250 V a.c. and rated current of 2.5 A. They are supplied with a cord, for connection of class II equipment, for household purposes, and having no protection against ingress of water, are designed for indoor use. The plugs are suitable for use at ambient temperatures not normally exceeding 25 Degrees C, but occasionally reaching 35 Degrees C. Plug portions of adaptors or equipment, such as razors or lamps with rechargeable batteries, plug in transformers, etc., shall comply with this standard as for as possible.
