Cette Norme Européenne spécifie les exigences et les essais pour: les regards de visite (regard de terre), les joints d'étanchéité de piquet de terre. Les composants de protection contre la foudre (CPF) peuvent aussi être employés dans des atmosphères dangereuses. Dans ce cas, il convient de veiller à ce que les caractéristiques des composants soient en adéquation avec ces conditions.
