La présente partie de l'ISO 4251 spécifie les codes de classification et la nomenclature de la série à marquage "équivalent nappes" des pneumatiques destinés aux tracteurs et aux machines agricoles. La désignation et les cotes des pneumatiques, les capacités de charge ainsi que les pneumatiques spécifiques pour engins de débardage sont traités dans l'ISO 4251-1, l'ISO 4251-2 et l'ISO 4251-5, respectivement.
