    Le présent document s'applique à la détermination, après saturation, du coefficient de perméabilité à l'eau des matériaux naturels ou artificiels, autres que les géosynthétiques, intacts ou reconstitués, traités ou non, dont le coefficient de perméabilité est inférieur à 1.10"6 m/s. Cette détermination est effectuée en laboratoire au moyen d'un oedomètre. L'essai est réalisé sous la contrainte uni - axiale imposée par le projet et supérieure ou égale à 50 kPa sous un gradient hydraulique constant ou variable. Ce document peut être adapté pour d'autres solutions aqueuses en prenant en compte les caractéristiques de cette solution et plus particulièrement sa masse volumique et sa viscosité.
