Festgelegt ist ein Prüfverfahren für die Bestimmung des Widerstandes gegen Penetration von Handschuhen, die gegen Chemikalien und/oder Mikroorganismen schützen. Gegenwärtig besteht die Auffassung, dass Handschuhe, die bei der Prüfung nach dem vorliegenden Teil von EN 374 gegen Penetration beständig sind, einen wirksamen Schutz gegen mikrobiologische Gefährdungen bieten.
