This document, in conjunction with ISO 11298-1, specifies the requirements and test methods for pipes and fittings forming part of a pipeline system installed as a pipeline for the renovation of underground water supply networks. It applies to three different types of PE pipes: - single layer PE solid wall pipes (nominal outer diameter, dn), including any identifying strips; - PE tubes with coextruded layers on the outside and / or inside of the tube (total outside diameter, dn) as specified in Annex A, all layers having the same minimum required strength; - PE-coated pipes (outer diameter, dn), which have a removable, overlying, thermoplastic additional layer on the outside of the pipe ("coated pipe"). It also includes: - butting pipe sections; and - made and molded PE molded parts. It applies to PE pipes, fittings and component combinations intended for use at an operating temperature of 20 ° C as the reference temperature.
