Die in den Teilen 1 und 2 der ISO 717 enthaltenen Textstellen zum Runden von Daten sind nicht sehr genau und führen zu unterschiedlichen Auslegungen, insbesondere dann, wenn sie numerisch in der Rechnersoftware verwendet werden. Diese Änderung zur EN ISO 717-2:1996 enthält einige Präzisierungen zu Folgendem: Unterabschnitt 4.3.1: Messungen in Terzbändern; Unterabschnitt 4.3.2: Messungen in Oktavbändern; Anhang A (informativ): Berechnung der Spektrum-Anpassungswerte; Anhang B (informativ); Anhang C (informativ).
