Takes implementers step by step through mapping each data component of ATS 90006.1 to a corresponding Clinical Data Architecture (CDA) attribute or element. Contains descriptions of both constraints on the CDA and, where necessary, custom extensions to the CDA, to fulfil the requirements for Australian implementations of a discharge summary to be used for the electronic exchange of e-discharge summaries between healthcare providers. Also presents conformance requirements against which implementers can attest the conformance of their systems.
