Describes two RCST profiles: Type A, which is able to support IP services only. This type of terminal supports two types of data encapsulation, based on ATM or MPEG2; and Type B, which is able to operate as RCST Type A and also to support native ATM protocols by encapsulating ATM cells within an MPEG2 Transport Stream on the forward link.
