Gives guidance on the harmonic interference to power supply networks produced by industrial equipment.

Part 2 of this Standard provides guidance on the maximum size of harmonic producing industrial equipment that may be supplied from high or low voltage electricity supply systems and on the limits, of harmonic voltage distortion resulting at the point of common coupling, appropriate to the equipment.Part 2 of this Standard is applicable to all electrical equipment other than that covered by Part 1. In particular, Part 2 is intended for application where one or more of the following conditions apply:(a) The equipment is intended for industrial, professional or commercial purposes.(b) Consent from a supply authority is required before the equipment can be connected to the supply system.(c) The voltage at the point of common coupling (see Clause 4.1) is greater than 240/415 V.(d) Appliances are rated above 4.8 kV.A.
