Specifies requirements for the design and construction of tankers for the transport of cutback bitumen, inclusive of bitumen sprayers. This Standard introduces the concept, and control design details for both automatic and atmospheric burners, for their use whilst the tanker is being normally driven. The requirements in This Standard are complementary to those requirements necessary to comply with AS2809.1-1999.

This Standard specifies requirements for the design and construction of tankers for the transport of bitumen-based products including bitumen sprayers. It is complementary to AS 2809.1.
