This Standard specifies the composition and physical requirements of mineral wool thermal insulation in both batt and blanket form. The products described in this Standard are intended for the thermal insulation of buildings for above-ceiling application, wall cavities and under suspended floors.NOTE: Information on test specimen selection for determination of thermal resistance is given in Appendix A.
