1.1This test method2 evaluates the performance of lubricants intended for use in two-stroke-cycle spark-ignition gasoline engines that are particularly prone to ring sticking. Piston varnish and spark plug fouling are also evaluated.

1.2The values stated in SI units are to be regarded as standard. No other units of measurement are included in this standard.
