This British Standard relates to phosphor bronze spring washers of helical construction intended for general engineering application, and of the following types:—

  1. Single coil square section.
  2. Single coil rectangular section.
  3. Double coil.

Washers supplied in accordance with this specification shall be for right hand threads unless otherwise specified by the purchaser.
