Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Gives strength and stability of laboratory furniture, and the performance of its exposed surface finishes and additional requirements relating to work surfaces and surfaces likely to be exposed to wet conditions. For general, heavy and severe use. Details tests for establishing compliance but excludes the vibration characteristics of balance tables, the functional performance of fume cupboards, display boards, ancillary equipment, e.g. emergency showers. Shows manufacturing tolerances on the dimensions of laboratory furniture. Includes marking procedures.
