Presents a turbidimetric method for determination of the soluble sulphates content of sodium fluoride used for production of aluminium. The method is suitable for products with a soluble sulphates content greater than 0.05 % (m/m).

This International Standard specifies a turbidimetric method for the determination of the soluble sulphates content of sodium fluoride primarily used for the production of aluminium.

The method is applicable to products of which the soluble sulphates content, expressed as SO4, is greater than 0,05 % (m/m).
