Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Describes requirements for thermoplastics waste pipes and fittings for domestic effluent and made from following plastics: acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), modified unplasticized polyvinyl chloride (MUPVC), polypropylene or propylene plastics, and polyethylene (PE). Applicable to waste pipes and fittings with nominal sizes of 1-1/4 /32, 1-1/2 /40, and 2/50 which may be used internally or, if suitably compounded or protected externally. Includes requirements for jointing materials and seals. Also includes methods of test and gives guidance on quality control testing in manufacture of such pipes and fittings.
