    Describes requirements for the manufacture of cut, interlocking, glued finger joints in structural softwood members, quality control of their manufacture and assessment of efficiency ratings. Includes requirements for timber, joint spacing, adhesives, moisture content, cutting, glueing, preservative and flame retardant treatments. Does not cover impressed joints and in laminated timber applies only to individual laminations.
