    Provides recommendations for design, installation, maintenance and safety of Halon 1211 total flooding fire extinguishing systems in buildings or plant. System consists of an installation to convey Halon 1211 from storage containers for protection of particular plant or parts of premises against fire risk. Gives factual data on characteristics of Halon 1211 and types of fire for which it is suitable. Excludes design of explosion suppression systems. Describes two methods of operation: manual and automatic.
