    Details instructions and specifies procedures for taking primary samples for meat and meat products. Different sampling procedures are given for the following categories of products. Consignments of meat or meat products prepared or packed as individual units of any size or meat in pieces up to 2 kg in mass. Carcasses or cured meat in pieces exceeding 2 kg in mass and mechanically separated meat or dried meat.
