Talbe A.1 - Storage environment

Gives recommendations for storing and exhibiting archival documents including library materials. Covers long-term, permanent storage of archival documents and temporary storage of them in restricted access, and exhibition displays. Relevant to new buildings, purpose-built or adapted, and to existing buildings. Mainly refers to traditional materials such as paper and parchment but also includes more modern media. Intended for use by archivists, conservators, librarians, museum curators, designers, architects, contractors, engineers and others connected with planning, equipment, construction, working and maintenance of such repositories.
